Why do you even use scheduled listings on eBay? They cost money. You know, it’s totally ebay fine. Here’s a You don’t have to pay that scheduled listing fee.
If you launch the listing before the time expires, and I’ll tell you what Clara. I used to do all the time. You can schedule things out, I think max two weeks, unless changed, two weeks, but we would just keep going in and adjusting the date in the future until we could get to it.
So you can keep perpetually changing that scheduled date and set it out into the future until you can get to it. Worst case scenario, you can’t forget about it and lunch is live and you pay 10 cents, but it’s such a great feature to keep the banked listings
We always recommend having a bank of listings and keeping that consistency going with your listings, so the schedule, while you know, whether or not you choose to launch it on your own or not, having that scheduled listing just timed and going off is also really good for the algorithm.
I had over 200 or 250 bank accounts and I was doing that, going in every morning and evening trying to get you know, take care of that and then in April, I just lost the entire month of April because I was doing personal stuff and then a bunch of listings launched not the end of April.
The world couple things sold at a higher price than I would have done and I didn’t care because I had 10 listings go live every single day while I was busy running my life and then when I got back to that now I went back and I looked at those listings and I revised them and, you know, updated them or whatever while they’re live and so did it.
It cost me a couple of extra dollars. I had to go do personal stuff and that’s was okay because if they were drafts they would have disappeared. That’s right, so that’s why I changed to go from change from draft to scheduled listings because at 10 cents a listing, a dollar a day, I’m not going to cry if it gets launched and it does feed the algorithm numbers. geek [Laughter] I love it.
