Pawna Lake Camping coordinates lake side camping backwards of Pawna Dam which is close to Lonavala. How to reach

 

To reach Pawna lake campsites you’ll have to head towards Pune Railway Station, then ride a train for Kamshet. And then hire a jeep from Kamshet Railway Station to reach Pawna lake. Every 45 minutes trains run. From Kamshet Railway Station, Pawna lake campsites are located at a distance of 22 km. approx.

  1. If you want to travel from Mumbai don’t take the Kamshet route as it’s a long route. Dudhiware route is the shortest route from Mumbai.
  2. In order to save some money, book a shared jeep from Kamshet to Mumbai.
  3. A pair of swimming wear is needed for swimming.
  4. While travelling to your destination wear loose yet comfortable clothes.
  5. Don’t go for water sports activities if you have aquaphobia as the lake is deep.
  6. No need to carry too much luggage because it’s overnight camping.
  7. Don’t forget to carry your camping essentials, like torch, camera, first-aid, etc.

Pawna lake is a water body and a most wanted camping ground, but you must remember that you are not allowed to get into the deep waters of the lake. The nearby area is safe for the campers to promenade around and devote some time with one another but it is suggested to not to go close to the water that time.
