Elegant decoration, enclosed in a white frame
The decorations to print are indeed the easiest to achieve because they do not require a lot of effort. You can find quite a few pretty designs to print online. Then, what you can do to value them more is to put them in a nice frame worthy of them. You will find an excellent example below. This is a frame that encloses an autumn-themed design, inspired by the fall wreath that surrounds a greeting.
When we talk about do-it-yourself fall decor, it’s often simply a matter of arranging seasonal materials together to create a themed decor. Take a vase or a glass jar and fill it with all kinds of natural materials characteristic of the season. Organize a walk in the forest to pick up and collect some of its natural resources. Acorns, pine cones, twigs, chestnuts, dead leaves, wheat, corn, etc. After making a selection of the prettiest pieces from the collected materials, store them in a transparent container – a vase, jar, jar, glass bowl. Customize with ribbon, string, and other decorations. If you want to, finally bring some color by storing pretty flowers in the colors of the season.
Another pretty popular idea is to empty a pumpkin to turn it into a pretty thematic planter for your vase. Here’s whereby to make it in simply some actions and easy landscape drawing.
It’s easy to make a paper crown!
Decorative wreaths where flowers are replaced with fallen leaves are quite popular as an autumn DIY. Here then is an interesting tutorial!
Materials needed:
- Colored paper (different shades of blue to obtain a shaded effect at the end)
- Circle cut out of cardboard
- Semicircle hole punch or trace-ellipse template or simple scissors
- Glue gun
Step by step realization:
The first thing you need to do is cut out the paper sheets that will be used to decorate your paper circle. You can do this in three ways. First, using a Cricut – an electronic hole punch that allows you to make shapes and letters out of paper. However, if you don’t have such a device, you can use a simple semicircle hole punch, a trace-ellipse jig, or just our old friends – scissors. You will need to cut the tree leaves out of strips of paper folded in half, as shown in the photo. Be careful, you will need a fairly large number of sheets of paper like this.
Next, you need to cut out the base of your crown. This is a cardboard hoop that you can draw on a piece of cardboard using a protractor and then cut out with scissors. Then, start arranging the paper sheets on the cardboard hoop, while securing them with the glue gun. Continue the operation until you cover the entire hoop with leaves. Arrange the sheets of various colors to create a shaded effect. Finally, hang on a yellow or other colored ribbon and this simple decoration is already ready to decorate your home.
Make an owl from a toilet paper roll
The human mind tends to associate certain types of animals with different seasons. Thus, while the rabbit, ladybugs, and butterflies evoke spring, animals such as the hedgehog, owl, and fox for example are the symbols of autumn par excellence. There are quite a few crafts inspired by these creatures. These are some that will fascinate the little ones.
Materials needed:
- Toilet paper roll
- DIY glue
- White sheet of paper, a black sheet of paper
- Corrugated cardboard
- String
- Twig
Production:
The first thing you need to do is prepare the parts that make up the owl’s body for assembly. The role of toilet paper must be repainted red, leaving a small unpainted circle in the place where we will then place the belly. However, you can also skip this step because the part in question will then be covered by the circle intended for the stomach. Cut the latter in the corrugated cardboard and then continue with the cutting of the diamond which will cover the head as ears. The beak meanwhile, represents a small triangle, from a sheet of black paper and finally, we also have two small white circles that will play the role of eyes.
Once you have all of its parts, it’s time to put them together. Glue the belly first, then the ears. Draw simple graphic eyes in the white paper circles and glue them on two sides at the top of the belly. In the middle, you will finally put the black beak. Finally, using scissors, cut the lower part of the roll in a round shape and punch two holes on the left and two on the right.
The second kindergarten fall DIY tutorial that we are going to offer you is even easier to make and uses another material very common in fall crafts. These are pine cones, the natural shape of which is very suitable for making those very nice little hedgehogs that you see below.
Materials needed:
- Cones
- Felt (brown or beige for the face and black for the muzzle)
- Wiggly eyes
- Scissors
- Textile glue
Step by step realization:
Everything here is very simple. First, you need to cut a triangle with rounded corners from the felt sheet for the face and a tiny black circle for the muzzle. Obtain movable eyes to glue 0.7 cm in diameter and then assemble everything. First, glue the eyes and muzzle to the face and then have the face itself attached to the top of the pine cone. Using this same technique you can then make an owl as well.
