Kitchen walls may need to be washed more often than other rooms in the house. You may not have noticed that the mixer or blender splashed the wall. It does an intense cleaning and wipes the grease, garbage and spilled food on the walls of the kitchen.

B). Clean dust from hanging frames. Take care when cleaning framed artwork. Do not spray all-purpose detergent or water. Liquid can seep behind glass and damage images. Dampen a clean cloth to clean the frame and glass.

C). Clean the dust from the ceiling fan. You can use a delicate detergent. Remove the accessories, wash and dry them carefully before putting them on.

D). Remove curtains and blinds for washing or cleaning according to manufacturer’s instructions. Vacuum and clean window frames and clean corners. Wash the inside and outside of the windows.

  • Clean The Countertops / Table

Organize all the items that belong to the kitchen that are not in place. Next, collect all the non-kitchen items. Put all of these items in a basket for storage later. Be sure to tidy up the kitchen to put these items in their proper places.

  • Start with The Sink / Dishwasher

Put all the dirty dishes in the dishwasher. Fill the sink with hot water and detergent, soak as many dishes as you need such as pots and pans. Use baking soda down the drain, you can also use lemon peel to freshen up.

  • Spray The Countertops and Stove

Use an all-purpose sprayer and spray surfaces well. Let the sprayer do its job on the go.

  • Check The Refrigerator

Throw away anything that is past its expiration date and place the containers in the sink of water and detergent. Working from top to bottom, clean the shelves with a cloth sprayed with all-purpose detergent.

  • Start at The Top

You can shake the dust and debris off the floor as you will sweep it up later. Use a long-handled duster and file the entire perimeter of the kitchen. Clean corners, lights, and tops of cabinets. Don’t forget the top of the refrigerator. When you get to where you started, you are ready to move on.

  • Clean Upper Cabinets, Microwaves, And Other Appliances.

Place a damp sponge in the microwave and “cook” for 2 minutes. While the microwave does its job, soak a cloth in hot water and detergent and use it to wipe the doors and handles of the upper cabinets and any dirt on the walls as you go around the kitchen. By now, the sponge in the microwave should have cooled down. Use it to clean the inside and outside of the microwave.

Clean the coffee maker, toaster, blender and other small appliances, from top to bottom, use a multipurpose spray or glass cleaner (spray the cloth instead of spraying the appliance).

At this point, the detergent you sprayed has had time to act, wipe down the horizontal surfaces. Add a little baking soda to remove stubborn stains.

  • Clean Vertical Surfaces of Large Appliances

Use another cloth soaked in warm water and detergent to clean the front of the refrigerator, dishwasher, and oven. Pay close attention to the handles and outer edges. For stainless steel appliances you can use vinegar diluted with water.

Again, a cloth soaked in warm water and detergent will suffice.

  • Finish washing the dishes and clean the sink

Place items that are submerged in the sink in the dishwasher or wash them by hand. Empty the sink and wash it with hot water. Clean the sink with a mild abrasive like baking soda. Rinse with hot water. Clean the faucet with a microfiber cloth.

  • Empty The Trash

Wipe the inside of the trash can with a damp cloth before replacing the bag.

  • Sweep and Mop the Floor

Sweep the floor with a broom or dry mop, reaching baseboards, under cabinets and in corners. Remove the devices, if necessary. Then mop or steam clean. Start in the corner farthest from the entrance to the kitchen. If you use a mop, be sure to use a bucket. You don’t want to contaminate your clean sink. Pour dirty water outside or into the toilet.

  • Watch out for sharp objects while cooking. Use a cutting board when chopping food to minimize accidents with sharp knives.

  • Always use plastic or wood utensils with these surfaces.
  • Don’t leave sharp knives laying around where small children might get them into trouble.
