So I did it! After months of research, reading, watching reviews, and just plain dreaming about The Vi peel, I finally took the plunge and booked an appointment with my local dermatologist to have the procedure done at her office.
Here’s my experience!
Prepping My Skin

Although I followed all of my doctor’s instructions and precautions, I still had to stop a few times during application because of how sensitive it made my skin. I was peeling within 24 hours, but it wasn’t uncomfortable at all.
Some people develop Vi peel Los Angeles rash when they use strong peels, but that didn’t happen. It was pretty enjoyable. I even slept with Vaseline over my entire face and neck. Avoid losing any of those precious Vi peel oils! For two days following my peel, not much happened besides peeling.
Immediately After Application
It’s been 5 hours since I had my second appointment and, I have to say, I’m a little sore. It feels a bit like sunburn (though not as painful), and it looks like I spent all day at the beach without sunscreen. My face is bright red, there are splotches of skin flaking off, but if you haven’t seen me in person, you wouldn’t be able to tell anything was going on.
5 Hours Later
It’s been five hours since I had my Vi peel Los Angeles. I feel like my face is on fire and I can’t leave my house because it hurts to move it at all. I look like a welder and honestly and I don’t know how I will last through tomorrow or two days from now.
Needless to say, that picking was not excellent… but hopefully, after tomorrow, things will get better. If you are thinking about getting a peel, DO NOT use any scrub on your face!! It is not worth your day!
Final Results
This is worth trying treatment, I must say!
